8) Note the key (angled corner) on the replacement Monitor PROM. Align the replacement PROM to match the key

on the socket. Carefully ensure correct orientation of the IC then press in place. Excessive force should not be

necessary.

9) Follow steps 3, 4 and 5 in reverse to reassemble the console.

10) Reconnect the mains power cord on switch on. The processor will now be in a download mode waiting for the

AWS900 V4 software to be transferred via MIDI. The console will not boot fully until the new software is installed.
